Matthew Cerrone of Metsblog is now reporting that HoJo has been hired as the Mets 1st base coach.

Yep HoJo's the new 1st base coach. Alomar moving to 3rd base coach.

Howard Johnson as the Mets new first base coach works for me. I have always been a HoJo fan, so it will be nice to see him back on the field, even though he is not playing.
