Mets sign Jorge Sosa to 1 year contract

Seems to be official now.

According to The Associated Press, Jorge Sosa will get a one-year, $1.25 million contract from the Mets.

That's about right. No word yet on whether it will be guaranteed. Sosa will compete for a spot in the Mets' rotation and could find a home in the pen if he doesn't make the cut as a starter.

That is not true. Mazzone helped him. Let's just see what Peterson can do.
