Exclamation Mets meet with Mulder

Free agent Mark Mulder met with the Mets on Tuesday and is scheduled to talk to the Rangers later.

Rangers officials flew to Arizona to meet with Mulder last month. Mulder is also drawing interest from the Cardinals, Diamondbacks and Padres, among others.

I'd be OK with looking at him. It might be worth a shot, at a lower risk, reuniting him with Peterson.

The same link gave us rumor #92,473 about Rodrigo Lopez landing at Shea. Why do we have to keep hearing about some sort of interest this team has in this waste of a roster spot?

I'd like to bring Mulder in if he is willing to sign a 1 year, incentive based contract.

I am perfectly fine with the Mets meeting with Mark Mulder, and would have no problem if the Mets signed Mulder. I just do not want it to be long-term because of Mulder being an injury concern.
