Mets after Buehrle.

According to Scott Merkin at MLB.com, “one of the newest rumors” coming from the winter meetings involves a swap of Mets OF Lastings Milledge for White Sox LHP Mark Buehrle.

I like the deal. Buerhle is a font line starter though his drop in K's is a bit alarming.

If the Mets can get the Mark Buehrle from 2001-2005, then I would like this deal. But, if it is the Buehrle from 2006, I am not sure how happy I would be about this deal.

I could certainly live with this deal. I'm not sure Milledge is in the longterm plans, and Buehrle is a young lefty with upside.
