Personally I did not watch the Mets collapse (which has been termed as "Epic" in the media) up close but let me leave it to the NY crowd and those that follow the team: Should Randolph have lost his job over this? Omar Minya for that matter? What kind of blunders happened during the lack-of-win streak down the stretch that could be pointed Willie's way?

I'm not sure he should be fired but he should be talked to at least (Willie)...he showed no emotion during the collapse as if it didn't matter...maybe if he got emotional or at least showed some emotion maybe his troops would have rallied behind him....he seemed to not care and his team seemed to take on the same attitude...say what u want about Bobby V, but this team would probably have won alot more games with Valentine and his fiery mode of managing...he would never have allowed this team to break down the way it did those last couple of weeks...he would have sat Reyes if he had to and had the team playing more of a national league style of play, manufacturing runs instead of sitting around waiting for that one big inning which never seemed to come about...anyway the way this team was built it should have won more than 90 games and it would have if it had played with a spark under it which I would attribute to the MGR...
