Default Bengals win doesn't help us

Last night on the NFL network (which I don't get on my TV ) the Bengals beat the Ravens.

It's pretty clear that the Ravens still have the division come season's end - but the Bengals win hurts our chances. At least we have a pretty easy win the Cheeseheads this weekend to try and keep pace.

In the WC Race:

Kansas City Chiefs: 7-4
Denver Broncos: 7-4
Cincinnati Bengals: 7-5
Jacksonville Jaguars: 6-5
New York Jets: 6-5

Didn't even think about that...gonna be tough to take the WC from Denver or Cincy though.

I feel like we can take on Denver... they've played very poorly lately, and are throwing a rookie into the mix. They also play SD, and a few other tough games coming up while we breeze by with our schedule. Cincy can be tough, and KC can be tough. I'd hate to miss out on a playoff spot because of Herm's team.

Forgot about Cutler taking over in Denver. For some reason, I am not really worried about KC. But I do agree that it would suck royally if the Jets missed out on the playoffs because of Herm. Cincy is a team that worries me--they seem to be clicking as of late.

The Jets won't take the wildcard from Cincy, KC, or Denver. Their only hope is for the Patriots to start sucking really bad. Which, much to my enthusiasm, won't.

Whether they make the playoffs or not, this will still be a very good season for the Jets. Most people thought the Jets would finish something like 4-12 with a top 5 pick.

Yeah, but I'd still be very disapointed if we don't. The way we've been playing, we should.
