I don't think he's that good of a coach, not as good as the Giants' improbable win indicated to some. They didn't win because of his coaching, they won because of Eli Manning's hot streak and Steve Spagnuolo's scheming. Coughlin is a good coach, but not among the game's elite by virtue of last month's upset, and not as good as the money might indicate.

^^ Coughlin's widely ridiculed for his coaching. He was run out of Jax because of his style wore thin. The players performed down the stretch, they held true to the basics more times than not (which is vital and oft forgotten for flash in Football)... and Tom Brady played hurt. in that little game in February.

I'm not suggesting Coughlin is elite or the league's best, but that's ridiculous.

When will he gain credit?

And Brady played hurt? The media played with you, actually.

Giants won.
