The whole Atlantic Yards development was a huge controversy. I got into it plenty with a few Net supporters with regards to the team moving to Brooklyn (they were firmly against it) though I don't understand why...

I guess what Net fans enjoy currently is not being at the center of things in the City (either NY or Newark). Continental Airlines Arena is so far removed from the city and the suburbs (with no real mass transit linkage to the arena) that it makes attendance dismal during the season. And that is the case even with GOOD teams.

The nets should not move to brooklyn. For me it is better in jersey.
