Default Are The Patriots 2007-08 Superbowl Champions

Will they win the Superbowl this year?

For sure they are. Tome Brady just has too many options.

I'm hoping not, and so that's how I voted. Though victory seems likely.

I think they will most certainly win it, as of now though they are the favorites. But things like injuries may factor into if they remain the clear cut favorites down the stretch.

What does everyone have against the Patriots?

They aren't my favorite team, but they get the job done. You can only run up the score if the other team doesn't stop you. Sure there was that camera cheating incident in all, but people are hating way too much on them.

They cheated in order to win...why should I support that? The penalty on them was ridiculously soft as well.

And then there's the running up the score thing. The good news about there never giving Brady significant rest is that when he does get injured (and he will, they all do) the replacement QB is going to be the death of them.

Would you be as mad, say if a team like the Miami Dolphins cheated with the whole camera thing like the Patriots did? Probably not, you are only mad at the Patriots because they are winning, and can't wait to find the next thing they did wrong. If the Patriots were for instance 4-6 it would be a little different according to you. I don't think they are cheating now, if they were they wold be dumb of course.

Yet they are still winning, and winning big...You can't change what happened in the past with that whole camera incident so it makes no sense to dwell on it, at least in my opinion.

Ridiculously soft? The fine against BB was the largest single fine ever given out to an individual person. They fined the organization as a whole, and they took a first round draft pick away from them.

How is that soft?

As far as running up the score goes... you can read my article about why I don't think there's anything wrong with how they're handling opponents here.

That fine against them was too harsh.

There is nothing wrong with running up the score.

Patriots will win the Superbowl

NEsince

They cheated to win, but all the lost was a few dollars. They didn't even really lose a first round pick as they still have one.

If someone cheats to win why should they keep that win?

Not to mention they probably have a top 5 pick! I was not satisfied with the fine they got also, but I managed to move on. Regardless they have a good team, and the best in the league now.
