More than likely the top three picks in the NBA draft:

Greg Oden - C - Ohio State
Kevin Durant - SF - Texas
Yi Jianlian - PF - China

Hellwig, I did like 38 iterations of the lottery with Chad Ford's projected draftees last night. Once the Sonics got Oden, once Durant and every other time (in spots 3,5,6) the Sonics got Yi Jianlian.

If the Sonics wind up with Durant they are such a broken team they already have Lewis and Allen on the wings.

So you think the NBA likes that the two PacificNorthWest teams got picks 1 and 2 instead of 5 and 6?

Portland
Seattle
Atlanta (meaning they keep it) - they also have the 11th
Memphis
Boston
Milwaukee

Portland is going to be a great team with Roy and Oden
Seattle is going to score a ton with three great wing players.
Atlanta should shoot up the standings as well after getting a #3 and 11 in this deeper draft.

Roy, Webster, Zach, Aldridge, Oden........WOW

They made strides last year with their young players and with Oden, watch out, their future finally looks bright

The other big story is.......the Celtics got screwed again........dont know what they are going to do now

As for your Sonics, Bedir........I fully expect to see Shard gone...

There's talk about hiring Ivaroni (spelling) the assisstant down in Phoenix and running small with Rashaard at the PF and Wilcox at C. Remember Lewis would lose money if he signs anywhere else. If he leaves it will be through a sign and trade.

The defense would be rough.

Yawn....The 2 most boringest franchises in the league got the top 2 picks. I say that because they are on the West Coast and nobody will get to see them play anywhere else besides there.

However, both Sea and Portland will get talented players who could turn around their miserable teams.

The Eastern Conf. needed either Durant or Oden but will not get them. What a shame, sorry just venting after years of Western domination!!!! No offense to Portland or Seattle, but I am just sort of mad!

Suns are on the verge of moving up from Rotoworld :

The Suns are closing in on a trade that would put them in the top 10 of Thursday's draft, according to David Griffin, Phoenix's senior vice president of basketball operations.

The fact that the Suns will get a visit from Florida's Corey Brewer and Joakim Noah, Georgetown's Jeff Green and a fourth "mystery player" all seem to be a sure sign that the Suns are on the verge of a deal

This should be a pretty interesting draft after Oden and Durant go 1,2

There is a Seattle area rumor (KJR-AM, who also broke the Allen deal) that the Sonics may have a deal with Atlanta as well involving Ridnour and Acie Law.
