Noah was probably the 2nd pick last year.....3 at the worst

He cost himself some money

BUT he needs to go to a team that isnt going to ask him to produce right away he would be a better fit where he can just come off the bench and contribute 25 mins a night

Hibbert and Green are now less sure of going to NBA:

Quote:
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Big East player of the year Jeff Green said Tuesday there is a "70-30" chance he will return to Georgetown for his senior season.

Green and fellow junior Roy Hibbert submitted their names as early-entry candidates for the NBA draft last week. Neither has hired an agent, so both could return to fulfill their oft-stated goal of playing four years with the Hoyas.

"Right now, 70-30 -- 70 coming back," Green said. "It depends on whether I'm ready. I still have a lot of things I need to work on to play at that level."

Hibbert put his odds of returning at 50-50, even though he said Green is the more NBA-ready player. Should both return, coach John Thompson III's team could be a favorite to win the NCAA title next season. The Hoyas made the Final Four this year before losing to Ohio State in the national semifinals.

I do hope they stay, it would be great for the college game, and espically Georgetown. Neither have hired an agent, so they both could come back. Green could maybe go, but I personally think Hibbert shoud stay. Outside of Oden, many teams don't really have a major demand for a big man.

Thadeus Young, Freshman out of Ga Tech along with fellow freshman Julian Wright out of UNC have announced their intent to enter the NBA draft.

Wright is a top 5 pick and Young will probably go in the 12-20 range

Roy Hibbert announced that he is going back to school, which is a good move on his part because he will be a top 2-3 pick next year

His schoolmate Green will stay in the draft

Brandon Rush has withdrawn from the draft...

Quote:
LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) -- Brandon Rush, who led Kansas in scoring last year, has withdrawn from the NBA draft and will play his junior season at the school.

A two-time all-conference selection, the 6-foot-6 Rush averaged a team-high 13.8 points for the Big 12 champions.

Makes sense, I don't think Rush would have been a lottery pick this season and if he improves he should be one next season.

Rush was once projected to be a top 15 pick

But hes stock has fallen very fast and very far, so far that he was now looked @ as a 2nd round pick

So this was a good move on his part

Tiago has been projected to be a top 10 pick for the last 3-4 years and every year he ends up not being able to get out of contract

I dont think he will be an impact player in the NBA from what ive seen of him and read up on him. Seems like a solid big man but not a star by any means

Durant could not bench 185 lbs @ his workout......thats kind of shocking / funny

This probably wont be a problem and he shouldnt fall because of it but crazy thing have happened before

Quote:
Kevin Durant's performance at the Orlando Predraft Camp was not very good, as he was the only player tested who could not bench press 185 pounds and ranked 78th out of 80 players in overall performance.

Dominic James to stay at Marquette:

Quote:
Sophomore guard Dominic James has decided to withdraw from the NBA draft and return to Marquette for his junior season, MU coach Tom Crean told Yahoo! Sports on Sunday.

As an underclassman who hasn't hired an agent, James has until Monday evening to contact the league office and pull out of the June 28 draft.

James played poorly at the Orlando Pre-Draft Camp, and later, working out for several teams, did little to elevate his candidacy in the eyes of scouts. James, who is just under 6-feet, had no chance to be picked in the first round, and might have dropped to the end, or completely out, of the second round.

He had such a horrible NBA workout that it doesn't suprise me. He was very incosistant in shooting and his jump shot definetly needs to be polished. He is small, but he is a very quick athletic passer.

However, he is making the right choice by coming back because he would not have been a 1st rounder, at least not with his shooting....
