Where's all the hype coming from?
If I recall, he was only averaging 22, 12 and 3. Nothing record-breaking about that.

This guy is a beast though, He'll probably go in the draft next year.

I know I haven't seen him play in person, but from what I've heard, he's easy to push around, which doesn't suite well for his NBA career. His stats were only like 22, 12, and 3--I'll say that again. That's nothing too impressive.

I think Kevin Durant will be the better player than Greg Oden. Oden will be nice and is improving by playing in college but Durant just seems like he will be really special.

more like 35

im 22 and i have a friend (same age) that seldom gets carded when we go out. he looks like he could be 28-30

He went out and played his 1st game with a soft cast on his right hand ( shooting hand ) and went out and got 14-10 and 5 blocks. While shooting 8-14 from the line, WITH HIS LEFT HAND

I dont care that they played Valpo, that line with 1 hand is impressive, especially considering he played with his non-dominate hand.

IMO, he is Ben Wallace on D but in a 7 foot frame and a Tim Duncan on the Offensive side

Also keep in mind he is a 75 % FT shooter, or better

From every game I have seen of him, I have never gotten that impression.

I mean even by just looking at him you wouldnt get that impression. With Yao you would see it because he isnt the most solid person in the world. But with Oden, he just looks like he is built like Bron.

Oden is nothing but a stiff from what i seen of him.

I watched him many times on tv, and he gets pushed around too easy. Use your butt stiff. I dont know what anyone sees in him, i know he isnt 100 percent but still .

He hasnt played basketball in 8 months up untill now and hes playing with his left hand.........

You make a good point, but I would like to see him use his body more for rebounds. He if 7 foot 1, he could manhandle anyone.

Maybe I was just hard on him in the Wisky game, he didnt look to good. Look decent against Tenn. I think he is an outstanding player, but needs some fundamentals tought to him to be a number 1 overall pick
