Montreal I will have to say because I am a huge fan of them. I think the Candaiens will surprise alot of people this year and have a ligitiment shot at the title.
If the Habs dont win the Cup I would not be surprised to see The Rngers or The Sharks take it this year.

I dont think the Wings have a chance at it. Maybe they should get a goalie that wont pull his groin.

How does Detroit have the best chances when teams like Anaheim and New York are out there. Detroit hasn't made any improvements. Montreal may not look good but they are a team that can play really good one night and then the next night look like crap. maybe they will put together some good games and put a shot at the title in.

Ya they lost Calder, Schneider, Markov, Bertuzzi, Lang and what ever else. They gained one good player in Rafalski. I dont think thats a good trade off.

Not much but havent lost much. they lost Souray and gained Roman Hamrlik. They lost Mike Johnson and gained Bryan Smolinski. They lost Aebisher but that wasnt a big loss. They signed Jamie Rivers, Josh Gorges, Tom Kostopoulos and a few other names. I say it was a little bit a a gain for Montreal.
