Retirement this year ?

Scott Niedmayer is going to reitire. He still has atleast 1 more year but hes hanging up the skates. Last but not least Jeremy Roenick is finally retiring. He wasn't doing any thing for thr past couple season. I liked wen he through his water bottle on the nice.

It's kind of sad to see Roenick's career end the way it did. The problems he was having in Phoenix, but his act did grow tiresome at times. But for the controversies that may have been around him, he at least got press for the NHL.

Neid's is a great player, and the sad reality is that the guys that many of us watched growing up are going to start retiring if not already done so. Sad, but we have some outstanding young talent in the league. Now if only the league could be more relevant as a whole.
