Eric Staal is on the cover of EA Sports NHL08...but who would you like to see?

Eric Staal is the new coverboy for EA Sports' franchise, NHL08. From what I have been reading on the web, a lot of fans of this great game feel like he was a bad choice, personally I think he is one of many good candidates for the cover.
So I ask you, who would you like to see on the cover? Tell me who you would like to see on the cover and your email address and I'll whip up a cover with your favorite player on it! I'll email you your personal cover ASAP and if you like it, feel free to print it out and slide it into the cover of you copy of NHL08 when it is released on September 11th, 2007.
I've done some up already for myself and friends. A friend of mine is a Devils fan (BOOOOOOO) so I made up Scott Gomez and Brian Gionta covers. Another friend is a Rangers fan ( even bigger BOOOOOOOOOOO) so I made up Jaromir Jagr and Henrik Lundqvist covers. And finally for myself I made one for the great Teemu Selanne hoisting his first cup, and from the Islanders, Jason Blake and my personal favorite, Trent Hunter. If you would like to see any of those just let me know, otherwise tell me your player of choice.

I think Luongo should be on the cover of nhl 09. This year its eric stall and thats pretty sweet

Have u guys heard the cover boy curse. Who ever is on the cover of a game for somthing they get injured. Like wen Nazzy wus coverboy he got inured and same with Forsberg and Eric Lindors they all got injured. Thats probally the wierdiest thing thats happened.

How about Sidney Crosby? He led the league in points and he is going to be the face of the NHL for years to come.

It's a shame they don't utilize their best players. If you want to promote the game better don't put Eric Staal on the cover. The average person has a way better chance of knowing Sidney Crosby or Luong for that matter than Eric Staal.

God there are so many deserving players who could go on the cover. I like the choice of E. Staal, but you could have gone with P. Bergeron, E. Malkin, A. Radulov, Luongo, Selanne, Pronger - hell any of them would have been great choices.
