Default What is really going on in Montreal??

So all season, there have been serious rumors of players feeling slighted, or treated badly, for a variety of reasons. First you have the fact that Samsonov, someone that the Habs really seemed like they wanted, basically gets benched and told don't come back.

Then you have the captain Koivu who gets benched, almost brings you back to when the B's benched Cam Neely, kinda of a what are they doing thing.

And now you have Kovalev mouthing off again, and allegedly the second time this season, that he has mouthed off about being treated badly by the Montreal organization.

Quote:
TSN : NHL - Canada's Sports Leader

Le Journal de Montreal and Radio-Canada in Quebec report that Kovalev recently gave an interview to Sovietsky Sports, saying he was unhappy with the way he was treated as a player this past season by the Canadiens.

According to Sovietsky, Kovalev added if things don't change, wants out of the organization. The 13-year NHL veteran told journalist Pavel Lysenkov - his official biographer - that his gripe is not with Montreal journalists, but with the team itself.

"At the end of the season, I had a discussion with GM Bob Gainey," Kovalev explained to Lysenkov. "I told (GM Bob Gainey) that I didn't want to be back on the team if I'm treated the same way as I was (this past) season."
So is there a problem in Montreal toward non-francophone players, or is the problem just in overpaid, whiney players??

The media along with the fans have made it almost impossible for new comers to come in and do there thing.

They kind of remind me of Wrestling fans. In John Cena's case everyone was happy, cheering then all of a sudden they turned there back on him and boo him and want him out of the WWE.

Even the Canadiens alumni say its the media causing the problems and future FA's arent going to want to go to MTL because its not a very nice team to play for.

I know Montreal is beautiful and all, but the team is not appealing.

SO Naz, you thinking it's more of a media created problem, than an organizational problem.

It's kinda like the Bruins, in a different way, are the Canadiens despite their sellouts, even that relevant in Canada?? They used to be as big if not bigger than the Leafs.
