What are people's thoughts on the NHL planning to play games in London next season?
Personally, right now I see it as a waste of time and resources by the league. They are trying to market the league internationally... Good for them. They could start by trying to market the league better to the United States and stop the tradition-centric approach with regards to the game. |

I agree.... They put ver little effort into the US market as a league. THe All-Star week in Dallas, was poorly marketed and barely visible in the local market...
They have some pretty huge markets in the states they shold try and recapture. |

I, too, disagree with the notion of bringing the NHL to London. If they wanted to do something like this for buzz, maybe play a game or two in "old" hockey towns...
Have a game played in Quebec, Hartford, Winnepeg, etc. That would be cool. And it would create some buzz for the league. |
