Once in a while for all of us, we come across a person that resembles another person. Player we admire in hockey are not immune to this...

As a big fan of Entourage on the HBO cable network, I always saw something oddly familiar about Kevin Connolly (aka Eric "E" Murphy -- Vincent Chase's manager):

I knew Connolly from his earlier work in unpopular shows and movies (Rocky V, Unhappily Ever After among others) but that wasn't why the guy looked so damned familiar, like I saw him more regularly than just on TV...?

Maybe it's just me? Maybe if I had a more candid shot of Mr. St. Louis you could see the similarities.

There are others I coudl name right off the back -- John Grahame and Russell Crowe for instance, or Dave Andreychuk and Rich Gannon... But these are just my own personal opinions I guess... Unless I am not alone in seeing similarities?

Who else in the NHL looks like somebody famous?

When Derek Boogaard's hair is lighter in color, he looks like the chef on TLC's Take Home Chef.

That one on top looks like Glen Featherstone.
I remeber when he was playing, the other players called him the ugliest looking guy ever.

I kept watching Phaneuf at the ASG the other night and thinking who the heck does he remind me of? Then it hit me...Incredibles. I had to enlist my kids help.

It would be way better if the Phaneuf pic was big.

LOL, that's great!

Marty did it again (during the All Star introductions). Though he didn't show any emotion, he came off exactly like Kevin Connolly to me -- short, same facial stuff... It's uncanny, the resemblence.

While we are speaking about Flames -- what about former Flame Mike Commadore? I mean, people say he looks like Bozo with his red curly afro, but doesn't he more resemble someone else?

You're right, John....that is a pretty close pair there with St. Louis.

Here's another I have noticed lately from Tampa Bay games... Every time I watch The Office, John Krasinski (who plays Jim) always looks very familiar...

Cory Sarich -- Lightning Defensiveman -- was who I kept thinking of with the similarities:
