Anyone Here any Thing about Vegas Lightly?

A little while ago there was a lot of talk about the NHL having expansion to Las Vegas and possibly Kansas City... I haven't heard any thing in a while. Has anyone else?

if the NHL is going to expand they need to go north of the border. Vegas to me is a horrible idea, just like I think it's insane to have a pro basketball team there.

The potential for gambling by teams/players and whathave u is way too high.

But I had heard some mild talk about listening to Vegas talk.

Vegas is having trouble getting their arena proposal off the ground. They're really stuck in this economy, for that matter. The city bailed out, and the private effort was probably vaporware to vaporize the public arena idea.
