I was wondering what your take on the whole neck protector's being mandatory for all NHL players. This all started from Zednik getting his throat cut by a teamates skate a while back.
What do you think the NHL should do?

The Zednik incident was rare. Though I support better protection for the players whole heartedly, my bigger concern is for protection of the players faces (making face shields or masks mandatory)

No
They limit mobility (although not drastically) and that in itself could lead to some dangerous events on the ice if a player physically cannot see all around him. I fully support players wearing them if they choose to, but forcing them on everyone won't really do very much, and is a bit overkill. I also agree with John -- protection for the face is a far bigger concern on the whole, and should be seriously considered.

I would say not since i feel it should be the players decision.
