Looks like it isn't the 1st time there's been a complaint either. Just what the NFL needs after Vick! Well da Chargers get to experience it 1st hand Sunday Night.

Hearing things on the radio on the way into work... this accusation sounds like it has some teeth to it....

It has always been a part of the game... but with technology now, it could take the 'sportsman' aspect out of it.... it is something if a LB or a coach on the sideline figures it out through simple personal observation.... but zoomed in video cameras, etc take it quite a bit overboard

Wow, this is huge, Wonder how long they have been doing this!! Commisioner has ruled that they are guilty and is considering taking away draft picks.. I think they should lose an entire years worth of picks!!

Well.. I seriously doubt that they will lose an entire year... but this is a stage for the comish to show how serious he is about cheating..... if he makes it that they only lose a 7th round pick, he is basically saying this is no big deal... if they lose a 2nd and a 5th, this sends a clear message that this will not be tolerated and it is serious in his eyes....

Well a draft pick is one thing, but if Goodell wants to make an immediate statement to the rest of the league, make them forfeit last week's win, but that won't happen as the NFL never does the absolute right thing.
I wonder if the Jets will protest the game now, if there is such a mechanism in the NFL.

As to how long this has been going on, we know that Green Bay tossed the same guy last year at Lambeau for identical behavior & that's probably the point where the NFL kicked off their investigation.

When a coach gets suspended 5 games for using PED (ie cheating) what's the penalty for recording the opposition (cheating)?

I don't really know what they should do to penalize them. I do think that a little asterik should be put on all of their SB wins.
