You're STILL on race?

Kerney had an incident occur at his home. The victim of the incident is alive and able to convey what happened to others. She did not implicate Kerney in the attack.

That incident had NOTHING to do with race.

Vick, on the other hand, had something happen at his house. The "abused" (the dogs) are unable to convey whether or not Vick had anything to do with their abuse. So naturally, the authorities have to investigate, and given that he is the home owner, he is one of the folks whose potential involvement has to be examined. The same as if the Kerney victim had been killed and unable to tell the authorities that Kerney didn't do it. Not only this, but there are "sources" that have tried to implicate Vick for his alleged involvement in dog fighting.

This has ZERO to do with race. Sad that someone would try to use the race card. Embarrassing to the human race, actually.

Could you explain who the "white victim" is in the instant case re Vick? Were the dogs white? Would the authorities involvement have been different if the dogs were black? Good lord. That you assume that anytime there is a black person involved in a crime (or, specifically a crime with a white victim) that it's "about race", is an implication of you, not the authorities.

To dj, eveything is about race. He wants the Federal Government to force major league baseball teams to have more african americans on their teams, whether they want to be on those teams or not. To dj, the reason there are fewer blacks playing baseball now is because owners of baseball teams can't 'control' them.

Honest. I am not making this up. He is obsessed with race.

That's Gary Sheffield's theory, and it probably cost him a berth on the American League All-Star team.

Stop putting words in my mouth, I can speak for myself.

Teams avoid signing African-American players in preference to Latinos because the former demand respect, and the latter can be intimidated.

Most Latinos cannot speak English, which is proven as the superior economic prosperous global language. The increasing number of hispanics in USA is a threat to the protection of African American rights. The fundamental differene is that African Americans had leaders like Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks to fight for their rights. You see Latinoes left and right entering the U.S. illegally. They embrace a form of anarchism which is fundamentally harmful to our society.

Saying latino players are not fiercely demanding of respect (which is central to latino culture) is something I have not heard in a lifetime of following MLB. Its a strange argument to make.

It's also, I would argue, racist.

Baseball's hot-heads come in all colors. Gary Sheffield, Milton Bradley and Elijah Dukes for blacks. Carlos Zambrano, Jose Mesa and Pedro Martinez for Latinos. Michael Barrett, AJ Pierzynski and Randy Johnson for whites.

Only the Asian players are routinely mild-mannered and that's a product of their culture.

Come on, dj, admit it. You've got Vick on your fantasy team and you're getting worried!
