Default Goodell laying down the law this year

First Goodell suspends Albert Haynesworth five games, I believe the longest in NFL history for an on-field issue.

Then he fines Tom Nalen $25,000 for a block below the knees.

Now he fines Michael Vick $20,000 for his obscene gesture.

Think Goodell will keep this up or is this a temporary deal while he lets people know he's in charge? Personally, I like the idea that he's not afraid to punish players with large fines and long suspensions. I'd like to see him keep up with it.

Goodell needs to get his head out of his butt and do something about all of the ridiculous ruffing the passer penalties.
