Pending a physical, which he is apparently getting right now in New England. Had to see this coming with the Mike Williams trade they made yesterday.
Moss made the deal easier by being willing to restructure his deal to go to the Patriots, a move he was not willing to do for the Packers. This being reported on SportsCenter today.

The kiss of death for the Pats..... they were building towards a SB run... that is in the crapper with this move

I don't know how you can say that? He is coming to the Pats on THEIR terms. WR was their weakest spot last year and now it is ridiculously strong. And only for a fourth round pick. Some fourth round picks don't even make their teams. The Pats are getting a WR who is still productive and I don't see how this will send them into the crapper.

Those who believe this will kill the Pats are wrong. Moss has an attitude problem I agree, but Belichick will not allow it. Plus the bacstage attitude of the Pats is complete respect. He wants a Super Bowl ring and as long as they are winning and he gets some catches, he'll be happy and won't disturb them...
The real question is how will the cold weather affect his play..

How many times has that been said about how many cancerous players with how many good 'hard nosed' coaches???
If you think for one second that Moss will be happy in an offense where he is not the focus of the passing game, you are sadly mistaken. There are many good reasons why he was had for nothing more than a 4th round pick, one of which being his place as a team cancer.

When Randy is getting only 3 or 4 touches a game... you will see the return of his cancerous ways, win or lose
All athletes want a championship... no matter what words come out of Candy Moss' mouth though, I do not believe in any way, shape, or form that a championship is all he wants and that he is willing to step back his personal stuff to get it

I'm really skeptical about this move by the Pats, but I have to say that I believe that Belichek had to have told Moss, he screws this up, he rides the pine. I mean with guys like Bruschi, Seymour, Harrison, and Brady, if he gets out of line, I can see all of those guys quickly putting him in his place.
I see this going one of two ways, we hear of problems really quickly or he makes it through the season with little problems.

Everyone said the same thing when Dillon signed in NE, how can they bring him in he doesnt fit their mold of players, well looked what happened, he fit in and was very good for them
Then same will happen with Randy, he is @ the stage of his career where he just wants a ring and will do anything to get it. Listen to his interviews since the deal you can hear that he just wants to win. This is a GREAT move for the Pats, combine this with their other FA signings and they are the clear SB favorites, IMO.
