Defenitly good for the 49er's to keep him there. Gore showed last season that he could play and he deserved the money. However, Gore should improve on handling the ball, and minimize his fumbles. That is the only thing I see from him that prevents him from being a flatout stud running back

Gore is going to make the 49ers competetive. Smith is going to keep getting better and it's a shame they couldn't keep Antonio Bryant around. The 49ers are going to be really competetive next year to say the least. Even before the draft, I'd call them a threat to win the NFC West easily.

Ganja: I will have to disagree with you on the 49ers. I think signing Gore to a contract extension is a great move, but I would have to consider Arizona still the favorites to win that division. They need to straighten out their defense in the draft. They have the high powered offense, but their defense is a huge question mark.

Arizona? 49ers?
You guys got it all wrong, the Seahawks will win the NFC West! With a healthy Hassleback, Alexander, and a great WR staff with depth this offense may be unstoppable. The defense may be a question mark, but its not the absolute worst. I can proudly say the Seahawks will win if healthy.

I personally think all 4 teams in that division can win it. I think Seattle will make the playoffs, but not sure if they will win that division. Darrell Jackson still may be traded by the draft.

Yeah, I was going to say any team in the NFC West is capable, but I think the Seahawks have the slight edge if healthy.
Like you said the Seahawks may trade Jackson because they actually have very many wideouts (a lot of solid ones too). What round pick do you think they could get? I say 1st or 2nd, he is one of the better wideouts when healthy

I would say maybe a 3 maybe a late 2. I doubt they can get a 1st round pick for him unless it's real late in round 1. He's had injury problems, but he also drops alot of passes. I assumed they re-signed Bobby Engram so that Jackson will be traded.
