Chicago should make this deal as quick as the Eagles made the trade with the Bills. It's a win win situation, take the 6th pick, go after Al Wilson, maybe he'll pass a physical with the Bears doctors.

Well...the Bears front office is making a name for themselves with horrible decisions. Handling the Ron Rivera situation was a JOKE, pretty much making Lovie Smith go to the Superbowl to get a raise, not accepting the NUMBER 6 pick in the draft for a disgruntled linebacker. I can just see the Bears really screwing up their future with these poor decisions over and over. When you have a player say he's ready to sit out for a year, and a team offers you the number six pick in the draft for him, YOU TAKE IT! Jesus how stupid is Chicago??

Apparently the Bears don't want to pay the high salary of the 6th pick in the draft. If that's the case, everyone in that front office should be fired.

Wow, what is wrong with the Bears ?

Its the NFL almost everyone uses up their cap, how do you NOT want a top 6 pick because you dont want to PAY THEM ?

If this is true they are a complete joke.

The link is on espn insider, They could get a great player at #6. It's not like Briggs is a HOF QB or anything. He's an OLB, he definitely can be replaced, although he is very good.

It's been proven the Bears are hesitant about giving out big money contracts....

Maybe thats why they waited so long on Lovie's signing....

I wish we would have done the trade, we would have been getting a high pick in Briggs. If the Bears don't trade they will just draft Paul Poslussny from Penn St. if avaliable. I think he would be a great fit. I could actually see Briggs being traded for a 2-3 round pick, this way we get another player for less money than a "top pick"

Paul Poslussny will be gone by the time the Bears pick at #31. The Giants may take him at #23.

I happened to see Paul going down to us, but the Giants may take him like you said....It all depends

However, yesterday the Giants signed linebacker Kawika Mitchell, who is pretty good, so hopefully they won't take Paul.....

Yeah I saw that move, but it's only a 1 year deal. The Eagles won't take him now since they got Spikes. Jose: Are you guys thinking about drafting a RB or are you guys gonna go with Benson as your feature back?

The Bears will definetly go with Benson as the future running back of the franchise. That is why we left Thomas go because we think Benson could carry the load. Hopefully he avoids injuries.

Plus if Benson goes down we have Adrian Peterson who is another good running back. We had a loaded backfield last season. However it kind of sucks we traded Thomas, but oh well.

I don't see us taking a running back. Most likely we will take a LB, DL, or OL.

you guys just re-signed Ruben Brown and signed Anthony Adams. I think LB seems more likely. If you guys make the trade with the Skins, you can take Willis with the 6th pick overall.

I think that is too high to take Willis....Most mock drafts have him going 12th or so. Thats why the Bears probably won't do the deal because there isn't a overly great top player at the posistion they need, which is LB.

Another position we may need is DL, with Tank Johnson uncertainties going on. Jamaal Anderson would look nice with 6th as a DL, maybe even Okoye a few picks down. If we get the 6th pick I think we will trade down to a team that wants to move up and we will drop 4-6 picks, where we could take Willis, if on the board.

I personally think you guys need a QB, but I guess Grossman has 1 more year to prove that he can play and play effectively.

If we did get the 6th pick and Jemarcus or Quinn is available I say go for it! We would have two young qbs with high potential, one would surely have to pan out!

Just trade one if one does good next season....Look what the Falcons got for Schaub

We'll see what Oakland does regarding Moss and their QB situation. Jemarcus could be available, but Cleveland may not pass on him if he's there at #3. Quinn will be there at #6, even though I think he should be on the board well into the 1st round.
