Should be a great game. The two best teams at the beginning of the year meet in what should be a defensive struggle with a lot of running the ball. However, Indy has one thing the Bears don't...a future hall of famer named Peyton Manning.
Indy 31 Bears 27 I keep picking against the Bears...but if Grossman starts throwing INTs the game will be over in the 1st quarter. |

Colts 31
Bears 23 Manning has a big day. 300+ yards 3TD 1INT Colts Defense intercepts Grossman twice Jones and Benson keep the time of possession in favor of Chicago, but to no avail Dallas Clark will be a crucial part of the Colts passing game with at least one huge play over the middle Berrian will have a huge play early in the game that will probably be the highlight of the game

I'm sorry I left for a while. I needed a vaction, and then work changed substantially. I'm over 50 hour weeks, plus two hours a day of commuting time. A few weeks ago I launched my own blog about Seattle Sounders FC and Life in Puget Sound. I won't be by these parts often as my focus has changed. Sorry about the unannounced retirement. |

Once again the Bears D gets no love. I would be surprised if the Colts win a blowout as All4 predicts. The Bears and their defense have been one of the most consistent and best in all of the NFL all year, and I think the Super Bowl will be no different- I just believe that the Bears D is better than the Colts, and while there is no doubt that Peyton and Company are terrific, I feel that the Bears defense will be the difference in the game. I am not saying exactly the Bears will win, but it will be a difference maker. Bears 24-22.

With absolutely no rhyme, reason, or analysis, I say Da Bears will be victorious 24-17.
