Default Super Bowl Xtra Large and then some (XLI)

Da Bears vs. Da Colts -- the student (Lovie Smith) vs. the Maestro (Tony Dungy).

Congratulations to Indy and Chicago...

If the Colts are hitting on all cylinders, I can't see them losing.

The Saints made several crucial mistakes which enabled the Bears to runaway with the NFC Championship, I don't expect to see the same thing from Indy.

Colts 27-7

I heard on Radio that Smith is the first ever African American Head Coach to make the Super Bowl, which makes this one even more intriguing.

Smith beat dungy by minutes...

This is the first SB with 2 African American head coaches -- let alone one.

Colts - Pats was a great game. I hope the SB turns out to be the same, with the same result.

Most writers I have read have been saying since mid season that the AFC champion was a lock to be SB champion -- the level of play is just that much higher in the AFC than NFC right now.

Come on, if this was the AFC's best six vs the NFC's best six, I agree atleast three NFC teams would occupy the positions of 10th, 11th, and 12th best, possibly 9th as well. But the Bears and the Saints are both members of the class of the NFL.

Not saying tha the Colts are a lock or trying to undermine the Bears and the Saints... I am saying the AFC's been better this year as a whole than the NFC.

People are major haters of the Bears...including myself. I was picking the Saints to roll them. I'm not going to pick against them again. I think the Bears are gunna steal one from Peyton in an OT thriller.

One of my 2 best friends is a Bears fan... and I am happy for him.... but both the Colts and the Bears are ball hawking teams... but the Colts are more consistent on offense, and Grossman can be more accident prone... I just canot see the Bears doing this without a huge defensive performance... and I think Peyton and Crew will score at least 24... IMHO that does not bide well for the Bears... so I have to go with the Colts on this matchup....

Why?
I care about what happens ON the field between the players.

The Colts have not faced a defense like this all year. I know New England and Baltimore were good but they do not go after the ball like the Bears do. I like the Bears in a close game 17-13.

Cardinals -- that comes back to Dungy having taught Smith the scheme he is using... Either we see Smith outcoach Dungy or perhaps Dungy exploiting the Bears D's weaknesses.

Defense will win this Super Bowl, I'm pretty sure of it.

I just hope for a great game. I hope the Colts lose because they are the Texans rival and I don't know a good reason. I like the Bears because of Nathan Vasher and Brian Urlacher.

Should be a good game for sure. Personally, I'm rooting for the Bears.
