Last year wasn't a fluke season for Brett. Some sports' writers like to focus on his '05-'06 and '06-'07 seasons. I would argue that his worst seasons were a result of having either not enough talent or talent around him just hadn't broken out yet. Last season, Greg Jennings, Darren Colledge, Jason Spitz, James Jones, Ryan Grant, Jon Kuhn, Korey Hall, Ruvell Martin, and Donald Lee all became big contributors, not just Donald Driver and an offensive drive-thru. Surround the best QBs in the league with junk, and he'll only be a fraction of what he could be.

This season won't be a great season for Brett. I wish him the best of luck, but the Jets just aren't quite as talented offensively, and he has to learn a new system. Plus, he's in a new division and conference with teams he has no familiarity with.

As for Rodgers, the Packers' talent is the reason I think he will be all right as long as he's healthy. I'm looking forward to seeing a QB who might scramble for a few yards or throw the ball away as opposed to expecting a couple of turnovers per game. Don't get me wrong, every Packer fan will miss Favre, but I can't help but be excited with the talent they have.
