So now that you will have the choice to watch, which channel would you choose?
For me, its NBC hands down. I love their crew.

A few weeks ago I launched my own blog about Seattle Sounders FC and Life in Puget Sound. I won't be by these parts often as my focus has changed. Sorry about the unannounced retirement. |

Good lord, I find out today, that no matter what station I see this on, I still have to listen to Gumble.

As a Patriots fan, I'm not optimistic about New England's post-season chances. The Patriots of late November and December are not the team that steamrolled over everybody in September and October. They're barely beating some of the league's worst teams. They're simply making way too many mistakes on defense and with the running game. Take away Tom Brady and Randy Moss, and the Patriots would be lucky to finish with a .500 record. I'll be very surprised if the Patriots defeat the Colts a second time this year. Even when the Patriots were at their offensive apex, scoring 40+ points per game, they needed a big fourth quarter comeback to win at Indianapolis. So how are they going to fare against them now that the Patriots aren't performing at as high of a level? And that's assuming the Patriots even make it to the AFC Championship game. What if they lose to a San Diego team desperate to avenge last season's playoff loss, or to an underrated Jacksonville team? What if the Patriots make it to the Super Bowl and face a strong Dallas Cowboys team? The national pundits talk as though this is a done deal for the Patriots. I don't see it that way at all. Teams with a great running game present all kinds of problems for the Patriots. It's not going to be a cakewalk to the championship. |
