Would you rather have a "guarantee"??
Here's hoping that somehow the Jets sacrifice a flock of chickens, sell their souls to the devil, have the planets align properly, have Brady contract mono, have Moss get arrested and raped in prison, and play out of their minds to beat the Patsies... it ain't probable, but we'd get less yap out of NE bandwagoners and homers |

If he is being realistic, why even show up? Shouldn't the Jets just forfeit?

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the Jets in this game. The Belichick-Mangini fued must be at an all-time high right now, and I'm sure that the Jets would love nothing more than to embarrass the Patriots one final time. This will be their Super Bowl. They're not going to roll over and allow New England to eviscerate them. Who knows? A couple clutch plays here, an interception there, and maybe the Jets can pull off the upset. They beat a pretty good Pittsburgh Steelers team, didn't they? Anything is possible in the NFL.
