This just gets me mad. I mean come on talk about turning your back on the home fans in the USA, the fans who made football America's game. It just wouldn't be the same for the Super Bowl to be played outside the US. This is all about money making, and it just makes me sick ![]()

Super Bowl to be played outside US?
Actually it is all about keeping the sport alive as it competes with the NBA and MLB for international dollars. Recent projections have MLB passing the NFL in total revenue within the next few years. The reason they are doing so is because they are gaining huge traction in international markets. The NFL has to explore ways to expand interest in it outside of Anglo North America. Yes, some of that is about money, but its is also about finding talent. The NFL needs to find Dirk Nowitskis and Ichiros, it needs an Albert Pujols and Alexander Ovechkins. Every other league in the US gets exceptional talent from outside the US of A and they are all much stronger because of it.

Jose (and I will answer your PM later
The NFL (as with the NHL, NBA and MLB) need to grow their league into world brands -- not just US/North American brands. Staging a championship in London adds Europe to the audience of game watchers... This may or may not be a worthwhile thing seeing the NFL abandoned the NFLE

Speaking of Canada, it looks like the Buffalo Bills are working out how to get a home game or two in Toronto.

odd, recent news from baseball is that MLB revenue is growing faster than any other US sports league and that by 2015 (IIRC) will pass the NFL.

It just struck me as odd regarding the MLB announcement concerning their revenue.
