![]() RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Michael Vick has tested positive for marijuana, prompting a federal judge to place tighter restrictions on the suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback. Because of the result, U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson placed special conditions on Vick's release, including restricting him to his home between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. and ordering him to submit to random drug testing. The urine sample was submitted Sept. 13, according to a document by a federal probation officer that was filed in U.S. District Court on Wednesday. Vick, who admitted bankrolling a dogfighting operation on property he owns in Surry County in his written federal plea, is scheduled for sentencing Dec. 10.

And in Mike's case, he started down the dark path ages ago. Being the it-boy in Atlanta only added to his ego and hubris. I don't know the entire story with "Ron Mexico" but a football player with a trashy alter ego (and I'm not talking commercial alter ego) isn't exactly someone to look fondly upon. Habs is right, he should be done in the NFL. Period. But of course when he gets out of prison some idiot owner/coach will offer him a roster spot...

John Clayton said (KJR-AM Seattle)that this will mean a violation of the drug control policy and so he will serve at minimum 4 games after his indefinate suspension for the dogfighting.

I knew John would know the finish of the quote
I also have doubts that he is 'done'... we may not see him til the 2010 season, but if he is still in shape, someone will probably take a flier on him as a backup or 'slash' style player.... especially if Al Davis is still alive at that point

Do you really think the NFL still wants after all of this and they also get his bad image.
