malone and stockton were 34 and 35 respectively when they led the jazz to the '98 finals. hornacek was also 34.
the prior year, when they beat the rockets in the wcf, who were led by hakeem (34), barkley (33) and drexler (34). the jordan/pippen/rodman trio was 34/32/36 in '98. |

Malone played below his career average in every year after 1998, save one (1999).
Stockton matched his career average in ppg in 1999, exceeded it slightly in 00. 1998 was Hornacek's last year of good production, but far from his most productive year. Jordan played below his career average in every year after 96-97. 1998 was the last year in which Pippen played above his career average. Rodman was a good rebounder in the last years of his career, but a negligible scorer. |
