Looks like the series is playing out just like last year series did.

But if you are a Cavs fan you are hoping it has a different result

Thank god the Spurs-Jazz series is over. If it had continued, it might have killed fan interest in basketball forever.

SO how bout those Cavs ?

Will the Cavs correct the mistakes from last year and hold on to the 3-2 lead ?

I wouldnt bet against it right now, Bron has taken the team on his back the past few games and has just dominated.

I didnt see this coming @ all.....

A tip of the hat to Lebron James. This was your series. Thank you for bringing Cleveland to the Finals. It's amazing what can happen to a failing franchise with the help of a lottery ball.

Congrats to Cavs fans......didnt think it was possible

But Bron won game 5 on his own and it was clear after that game that the Cavs were going to the finals.

I dont really see you guys matching up well vs the Spurs, I know you beat them in the regualr season but I think this will be Duncans 4th ring and he will cement himself as an immortal

That seems the likely outcome, BR, but it won't be for lack of screaming on my part.

No, I like Duncan and have rooted for him in the past. The Wake-Carolina "rivalry" is a one-way affair. They get geared up for us, but as far as we're concerned, the Deacs are just another team on the schedule.

I just don't like the Spurs.

I'm feeling good about this series. My gut tells me that the Cavs have a 50/50 shot at tonight's game and, if they take one in San Antonio, they're in the driver's seat.

I still think the Spurs will win, but it will take a solid six games, may go seven.

Okay, I was wrong. It will be a real chore for the Cavs to push this to six.

LOL, its ok dlb

There were alot of people that believed that Bron would do it by himself again

But plain and simple the Spurs are too good of a TEAM and Duncan is too much of a dominate force to stop.

I will be shocked if this series goes more than 5.

Infact Bron will show me something if he can extended further than 5 games.

The Spurs are too good. Duncan has established himself as an immortal with his 4th ring and he will probably get atleast 1 more before he hangs it up.

Just another example of why you take the Center over any other player

True, Duncan is an immortal and the Spurs are a very good team. I took hope from the fact that the Cavs were picking up their game at the end of the first tilt. I thought they could carry that momentum into the second.

But the Spurs came out like hired killers last night. Their defense is truly exceptional and when their primary plays don't work, they tend to hit their second and third options.

At this point in his career, LeBron is no MJ. The Bulls used to lose playoff series while Jordan got gaudy numbers. Here, it's been all Jacksons and no Michael.

And we are just 1 game from the series being over after the Spurs held on in the final seconds to win game 3.

So the spurs are up 3-0 and well the series is over

This is exactly why I was rooting for the Pistons because I knew the Pistons even though they lost to the Cavs they match up better with the Spurs and more times than not Det Vs SA would have been a 6 or 7 game series.

But we are stuck with what appears to be a sweep and LeBron hasnt been impressive in the finals so there hasnt been that much to get into.....I guess if brons 30 footer drops last night to tie the game we could be singing a different tune but it didnt.......

Very dissapointing NBA finals
