Anyone just see "Rome is Burning"?

I don't normally watch it, had it on for background noise as I waited for Around The Horn. Anyway, he had Greg Ellis of the Golden State Warriors on. At some point in the conversation (and by conversation I mean Rome blabering), Baron Davis gave Ellis a pie in the face. After this though, Ellie was unresponsive and in pain. It turns out that he got it in the eye, and he'll be okay.

Anyway, after they cut to commercial break, Rome had a serious conversation with a few analysts dissecting what is wrong with giving a teammate a pie in the face. I couldn't believe how stupid the conversation was that I was hearing. Rome went on and on saying "It was funny, but then he got hurt and it wasn't good." He must have said that line 7-8 times throughout the 3 minute conversation. Wow, I hate that show :P Atleast ATH is on now

Rome is Burning is terrible in my opinion. I listened to him a few times and he really does drive me nuts. Rome has nothing good to say, which is why he said that lines 7-8 times as you said. I do love Around the Horn, though.

Yeah, I saw it...but the dudes name is MONTA Ellis...

It was a bad interviw from the start...glad BDiddy pied him. But you think Ellis would be respectful enough to try to finish the interview, instead of saying "I can't see! WHAAAAAWHAAAA!" and proceeding to take his ear piece out.

Try to be a mature adult, that made me lose some cred I had built up for Monta as being a smooth guy.

My bad on the name, I don't follow Basketball too closely. Greg Ellis is the NFL Defensive Lineman

Ellis seemed to immature for the interview, he wasn't able to carry out even a small conversation. He wouldn't even respond to Rome asking if he was okay.

I agree that I don't like Rome is Burning, he just seems so vicious and cruel. In my opinion Jim is a creep, a weirdo and he will turn on any one of his guests.

Yeah this guy is real mature. Talking down to everyone, who does he think he is? Who would want to be his friend, Oh thats right he doesn't have any because he is a complete jerk and selfish *******. Yeah Jim Grow up, and then I might invite you to be a guest on my show.

Yeah i was watching that Rome is Burning. It was funny when Baron hit him with the shaving cream but then ellis looked like he got hit in the eye. It was funny because a plan back fired and Jim Rome was like ok lets go to commercial as fast as possible. Baron must have felt so bad after he did that. I wonder if Ellis got his revenge?
