TSN : NHL - Canada's Sports Leader
I guess the league has to do what they have to do, but I'm not nearly as upset about this as I was the Simon incident. Is it because I'm a fan of the Preds, probably influencing my decision or lack of anger. Personally I think Robidas shoulda been expected to get hit, surely he knew there was gonna be a confrotation, heck he was making the charge towards Tootoo.

Yeah, I think the Preds will be fine without Tootoo for 5 games, but its just another example of the league punishing the 3rd/4th line players and letting the "superstars" walk with no warning.
What a joke! Modano should have gotten at least 1 - 3 games for intent. Sundin got a game suspension a few years ago against the Preds for throwing his stick. His action was nothing compared to the "chippy" behaviour going on during the Stars - Preds game. Oh well, its time to move on.... We'll see Tootoo on March 31st against the Stars! I hope he's ready for some fisticuffs! |

IF the Preds and Stars meet up in the Playoffs, I can see a real bloodbath breaking out amidst a hockey game. Which is just fine by me.
I'm sick of this ***** league that Bettman and Colin have created.
