• Wild storyline: Minnesota has scored a combined 15 goals in its three games against the Predators this season. … Forwards Pavol Demitra and Saku Koivu have each produced six points in those three games. … Minnesota is 10-3-2 in its last 15 games. … Former Predators right wing Adam Hall returns to Nashville tonight. He was traded to the Wild from the New York Rangers on Feb. 9. … Back-up goalie Nicklas Backstrom has gone 5-1-1 since stepping in for injured starter Manny Fernandez.

• Predators storyline: Newly acquired center Peter Forsberg, who has 856 career NHL points, is expected to make his debut for Nashville. … The Predators, who lost Friday at St. Louis, are 12-1-1 in the second half of back-to-backs this season. … Left wing Steve Sullivan has eight points (three goals, five assists) in three games against Minnesota. … Tomas Vokoun is expected to start in goal.

This should be a great game tonight! I will be down in my usual seats cheering on the debut of Mr. Foppa. Hopefully, a fun, injury-free game for all!

Tough game last nite, Forsberg seemed to be trying a little too hard at times, and I don't know if the ice was an issue, but he had a hard time staying on his feet as some critical times.

Though I thought we definitely saw glimpses of what may be with him paired with Erat & Kariya. There were flashes of that skill all three have and I can't wait to see them get a little more comfortable with each other. It'll be a lot of fun to watch them gel
