Next at home: Sharks on Wednesday
It's safe to say that the Predators and the San Jose Sharks will not be exchanging Valentine's Day wishes when they meet in Nashville on Wed., Feb. 14. The two clubs, who squared off in the first round of the 2006 playoffs, have developed an intense dislike for one another and will be looking to set the tone for another possible playoff clash this year. The teams split the first two meetings of the season, with Predators forward Scott Hartnell scoring twice in Nashville's 4-3 home win on Oct. 26. San Jose center Joe Thornton, whose size and strength gave Nashville trouble in the playoff round, posted three assists in that October game and added three more helpers in San Jose's 3-1 win over Nashville on Dec. 9 at HP Pavilion at San Jose. Jason Arnott and his Predators teammates will be making a point to shut down "Big Joe" during his return to Music City. More info on game day... |
