Haydar sets Wolves record

MILWAUKEE — Right wing Darren Haydar set a franchise record by collecting a point in his 33rd consecutive game, and the Chicago Wolves came from behind four times in regulation before using an overtime goal by center Kevin Doell to beat the Milwaukee Admirals 5-4 at the Bradley Center on Tuesday night.

Doell followed up a rush by rookie Alex Bourret, collected the rebound and tapped the puck past Admirals goaltender Karl Goehring at 3:46 of the overtime to give the Wolves (24-7-1-1) their second straight victory in OT.

Admirals Fall to Wolves in OT

Milwaukee, WI-Roughly thirty-seconds was all that remained between what could have been the Milwaukee Admiral's third victory against their rival the Chicago Wolves this season. But the Ads let the win slide through their fingers and the Wolves found a way to secure a 5-4 overtime win.

It was a typical Admirals-Wolves game, filled with intensity, grit, and bare-knuckle brawls. But according to coach Claude Noel, at least from his bench, the game lacked intelligence.

"We didn't play a very intelligent game. It was a frustrating game to coach. It was a frustrating game to be part of."

Rivermen unable to net victory
Before 4-2 loss to Milwaukee, Linglet signs NHL deal with Blues

PEORIA - Charles Linglet signed his first NHL contract before the game, while the rest of the Peoria Rivermen looked like paper tigers Wednesday against Milwaukee.

Linglet scored two goals and a deal from the parent-club St. Louis Blues, but it wasn't enough to keep Peoria from a 4-2 loss to Milwaukee before 3,525 at Carver Arena.

I would like to say that the Chicago game was a very difficult game to watch as well.
