Default Corbeil's two goals play key critical role

Quote:
Nicolas Corbeil might not know the names of all his new Milwaukee Admirals teammates, but they all know his.

In just his second game in an Admirals uniform after being recalled from the Rockford IceHogs, Corbeil scored two goals in the third period as Milwaukee beat Houston, 3-2 in overtime, Friday night at the Bradley Center.

Default Aeros fall short in overtime

Quote:
Needing 60 minutes and overtime in their previous two games against each other, the Milwaukee Admirals and Aeros decided to have another go at it Friday night at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

Milwaukee prevailed in the first overtime game Jan. 23 at Toyota Center and the Aeros answered with a shootout win Thursday at Toyota Center.

But this time, after the Aeros tied the game with just over 10 minutes left in the game, the Admirals won 3-2 as Rich Peverley snapped a shot over the glove of Miroslav Kopriva.

Default Preview: Admirals at Stars

Quote:
About the Admirals: The Admirals' roster took a big hit over the all-star break as defenseman Kevin Klein and forwards Alexander Radulov and Scottie Upshall were recalled by the Nashville Predators. Radulov and Upshall were both recalled after doing very brief rehabilitation stints. Milwaukee has added forward Nicolas Corbeil from the Rockford IceHogs. Corbeil has 37 points (17 goals and 20 assists). In their last outing before the break, the Admirals beat the Peoria Rivermen, 3-2, as Pekka Rinne made 32 saves.

About the Stars: The Stars' three-game winning streak was snapped by the Chicago Wolves, 7-3, in the Stars' last outing before the break. The Stars' largest crowd of the season (7,358) witnessed the defeat. The Stars are in fourth place in the West Division with 47 points, one point behind the Admirals.

Default Polak's four goals spur Stars

Quote:
Vojtech Polak's performance had hats sailing to the ice at Wells Fargo Arena midway through the third period Saturday.

But he didn't stop there.

Polak continued to help the Iowa Stars stay one step ahead of the visiting Milwaukee Admirals in a wild 7-5 American Hockey League win at Wells Fargo Arena.
