Busy month ahead

The Predators' game against Chicago on Saturday marked the first of 15 games over 28 days in December.

It was also the first of five games in eight days.

"December is going to be very tough," Trotz said. "We've got a lot of games and we're at home the week before Christmas, which as a coach you don't like because guys have so many things to do. There's Christmas shopping and marketing things the guys do with the public, so your focus can get muddled.

"It's a big month. If we can get through December with a good record, that really sets us up for the rest of the year."
