Well done on the win, Preds. Played much better than Dallas, whatever was wrong with them...Enjoy those 2 points, it sure wasn't much of a fight for ya

Stop booing Mikey.

Ya I'm not real sure why all the booing on Mikey but, I hope that the NHL as a whole is going to be willing to see the Preds more than a team in peril.

They have picked up where they left off last regular season, and that is fairly impressive when you think about who they let go/lost, and who they have in return

You really didn't miss much, Habsfan . It was a pretty boring game on the whole, and while it was back-and-forth, there was minimal teamwork from Dallas' side of things.

Aye, they've done incredibly well, all things considered. Still, they're still carrying Jason Arnott and JP Dumont, so while they did loose Foppa, Kariya and Vokoun, they've still got some guys that can put the puck in the net. Besides which, loosing those heavy names gives the lesser-known guys a chance to break out. Similar to what Dallas has done, by making almost no moves in the offseason, and keeping Joel Lundqvist, Loui Eriksson and Matt Niskanen in the lineup in the early going. So, yeah, maybe the Forsberg of the next generation will emerge in his absence?

Well done by Chris Mason, as well. Almost got his second shutout of the year already, but Barch put a stop to that one .

So, well done. It won't be that easy next time!
