Attending any concerts this summer?

Looks like I will be attending 2... I'm an old fart, so most everyone else here probably will not be going to the same shows...

Motley Crüe is now doing an Ozzfest style 'Crüe Fest'... I just love Crüe in concert, so I could not really care less about the other bands... all I know is Papa Roach or whatever is one of the bands... I'll probably just show up 1/2way thru the fest and work my way to the front by the stage for when Crüe comes on

And of course, with me bing a huge fan of the Price of Freaking Darkness, I will probably be attending Ozzfest... still don't know if I will get my kids into this one... I have taken them to see Ozzy solo... but the atmosphere surrounding Ozzfest is not really something I am keen on exposing 9 and 13 year old girls to....

What about you all?

Probably see Rush for the umpteenth time when they come in town next month.

Missed Radiohead last night...bummer.

I'm going to see John Prine in Atlanta this Sat. and am going to try and catch The Levon Helm Band somewhere. We have a great listening room here in Greenville and they get great acts. So I'll be going there too.

They have a free concert series up here near Dulles Airport... every Sunday, a different old band for free... when the kids are out of school, I'll probably take them to a couple

I'll probably go to the Montreal and Newport Jazz Festivals, and maybe check out whatever is playing at Blue Note if I attend the ABA Convention in New York.

Yep. I've seen him two or three times since the cancer. He played for over two hours in Atlanta.
