Just checked out this Queens of the Stone Age cover of my far-and-away favorite Tom Waits tune 'Goin Out West.'

Tom Waits' original is phenomenal and still superior, but Josh Homme's vocals and the harsher sound make this a fantastic complimentary recording.

While Floyd may be an acquired taste... the musical prowess is there

DD, I strongly recommend David Gilmour's newest album "On an Island", and the concert DVD "Remember that Night". Some beautiful stuff there.
