Samsonov traded to Hawks for Cullimore and Salmelainen

Well the stay for Sergei was short and strained for everyone involved, but it would appear that the Habs were able to do the unthinkable and get something for a player that Gainey no longer had any use for.

Samsonov is a gifted player, who still has a few years of good play under his belt, but he never could get himself going North of the border.

Great .. Finally got rid of this useless talent .. Be nice if the habs could re-sign Souray but i really dont see it happening ..
