Default Habs' practice facility collapses

The CBC is reporting that some sections of a new training facility being built for the Montreal Canadiens collapsed Monday.
According to police, half of the steel structure gave way around 1:30pm et.
"I was on the structure and I heard a noise and the entire middle part collapsed," construction worker Jean-Louis Tellier told Canadian Press.
"I was stuck on top so the crane came to get me but it couldn't reach me."
The extent of the damage was unclear, but engineers and members of the Quebec health and safety commission were on hand to investigate.

"We're talking about 10 to 15 per cent of the soccer field structure that collapsed," said spokeswoman Marie-Josee Gagnon.
When completed, the new $30 million practice facility will house to full size ice surfaces and seat up to 800 spectators.
Gagnon said that the Canadiens will likely still be able to move in as scheduled in the fall.
