Habsfan84 is on a distinguished road
Default Halak has that yo-yo feeling

He's up. He's down. He's up. He's down.
Jaroslav Halak, who was returned to the Hamilton Bulldogs yesterday by the Montreal Canadiens, is starting to feel a little bit like a yo-yo.
"Yah, pretty much so far," said Halak after practicing with the team yesterday.
It was the second demotion this season for Halak, who has also been up with Montreal twice.
He'd been hot as a pistol with the Bulldogs when the Habs called him up Jan. 8 and sent Carey Price down to get some work.
Halak, who'd won AHL player-of-the-week honours just prior to his call-up, never got a start in 12 games and only played one period (13 saves, no goals) against the Rangers in relief of Cristobal Huet.
"I thought I got called up because I was playing good, that that was the reason, so I was hoping to get one game, at least," he says. "But it didn't happen and maybe I'll get a chance next time, or next season."
Head coach Don Lever says he wouldn't be surprised if the Habs pull another switcheroo with Price and Halak before the season is over.
"If they decide to go run with Huet for awhile, if he's hot, I wouldn't be surprised if they send Carey back down at some point to get some more work."
That's not likely to happen in the short term, however, since the Habs have a busy schedule with 11 more games in February and one of the main reasons they called Price up was to lessen Huet's workload.
A well-rested Halak is anxious to get a heavy workload, but admits he's a little anxious about starting tonight at home against the Lake Erie Monsters.
"It's been a month since I played so I have to get in game shape again (tonight), because it's been awhile. I'll just try and keep things simple."
Lever said his challenge will be to get Halak a lot of work and, at the same time, find some work for Yann Danis who has only one start in the club's last 11 games.
The Bulldogs also have two other games later this week -- host San Antonio Friday evening, then head down the QEW Saturday at 4 p.m. to face the Toronto Marlies.
NOTES: Defenceman Mathieu Biron (knee) has resumed skating and could be back within a week. Mikhail Grabovski (ankle) and Kyle Chipchura (hip flexor) are cleared to play and could suit up some time this week. Andrew Archer (knee) will begin skating later this week ... The Bulldogs have sent Jimmy Bonneau down to Cincinnati of the ECHL.
