And here's the real shame of this drain-circling season:

Before it began, general manager Larry Harris had assembled, given the financial limitations before him, an interesting roster. Not a Central Division-challenging roster, mind you, but one that had the potential to at least hold your attention through the NBA-centric period between the end of football season and baseball's opening day.

But right about now, Brewers vs. Angels on March 4 at Tempe Diablo Stadium is looking like a real alternative to Bulls at Bucks on the same afternoon.
