Milwaukee Bucks reserve center Dan Gadzuric will be out six weeks with a posterior dislocation of his left shoulder, general manager Larry Harris said Tuesday.

Gadzuric was injured late in the third quarter of the Bucks' 117-98 loss to the Miami Heat on Saturday night. He had played in 44 of the Bucks' first 48 games and was averaging 3.8 points and 3.6 rebounds.

The 6-foot-11 Gadzuric had played sparingly in recent games, with his most extensive action being a 22-minute showing last week at Miami. In the last three games, Gadzuric had played 2 minutes at Orlando, 6 minutes at Detroit and 7 minutes against Miami before suffering his injury.

The fourth-year player suffered a posterior dislocation of his left shoulder late in the third quarter of a 117-98 loss to the Miami Heat on Saturday. He left the game and did not return.

Appearing in 44 of the Bucks' 48 games this season, Gadzuric, 29, has averaged 3.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in 12.8 minutes.
